Something I Thought I Would Never Do

This Sunday I am going to do something I never thought I would do. Like, ever.

I am participating in my very first marathon. EEK!

That's right, a marathon. ME. hahahahahahahahahahaha I sure hope I'm not laughing alone!

Yep, you heard me right, and I wasn't lying. This Saturday evening, I am taking the train to Daejeon (my first foreign train ride, too!) to stay the night with Amy so we can wake up bright and early and head to the pick-up spot for the Barefoot Masai Marathon on Sunday. It is a 7k (4.35 miles) walking marathon either up a mountain or around the side of it... I'm not quite sure... and it's going to be great. I just know it. I'm not quite sure, either, where the barefoot part comes in because we were told to wear sneakers. Also, I'm not too sure about going barefoot ANYWHERE in South Korea except inside my apartment, for obvious reasons.

If I can charge my camera and bring it back to life, I promise to take many pictures to document this literally unbelievable event. And maybe I'll even take some pictures of my trip to Dr. Fish, too!
