I hope you all appreciate this picture as much as I do. I have a very shy, very beautiful, smart, intuitive, yet camera-terrified kitty on my hands. Her name is Speckles and she's the love of my animal life. I'm going to miss her terribly. If anyone would love to adopt this 5 1/2 year old beauty (her birthday is sometime in August), she is free to great, animal-friendly home. She currently has a brother, Mokey, but I think she's a one-cat-per-house kind of girl. No idea how she does with dogs, but I'm sure she's like me and would prefer a large, lovable and calm dog instead of a small yapper.
Of course, Mokey is up for adoption, too. :'( He's really a very good kitty. He'll be 1 year old sometime in early May. (I adopted him last June 11th and he was 10 weeks old.) He's big already, so I tend to forget he's still a kitten.
He has all of his claws, but she is 100% declawed. He is all black and has very silky fur, while she is mostly white with black spots and speckles, and is very, very soft, sort of cottony-soft. They both love Greenies (Speckles: the salmon and ocean fish flavors ONLY, and I'm sure he'd eat anything), Friskies wet food for a treat (again, salmon only for Speckles - he'll eat anything, especially her food). She loves toys with feathers. I've gotten her a few boas and she absolutely goes crazy with them. He loves those little toys that you can stuff with cat nip. (She loves them, too.) He also likes loose change, throwing jewelry in the garbage disposal (don't ask), and pushing stuff off counter tops onto the floor, and then forgetting about it. She loves hiding in the closet and long walks on the beach. :)
