I received a few more gifts from students and I would like to share with you the very cool generosity that my students showed me.
- My First Trip To Daejeon (Of Many More, I'm Sure!)
This trip includes my very first train ride from Gwangju to Daejeon to visit Amy and take part in the Barefoot Masai Marathon on May 15, 2011. It also includes the adventure (or should I say SAGA?) of the marathon, an unforgettable yet terrifyingly funny trip across a river, the things fish will eat, 'standing room only' and of course, new friends.
Please stay tuned for more on these tales from my time in Korea. I would post now, but I am extremely tired after what was originally a 7km marathon that turned into a 20km marathon for the lucky three of us, after only 3 hours of sleep! Trust me, the story is undeniably funny and definitely a must-read.
