House Grill

Hands down, House Grill has the best burgers in Daejeon. 

Sound like big shoes to fill, yes? Trust me, they got this. 

Owner-operator Brian makes all the food for you. From scratch. He lived in the United States for a while, and while he was there he learned how to make burgers just the way we like them - fresh, thick and juicy, on a big bun, and with just the right amount of vegetables and cheese. He also offers salads, grilled cheese, pasta, french fries, and onion rings, all exactly the way we would get it at home, and with a variety of sodas and beers to drink. Order the set and you can have french fries and a drink for just 3,000won more. 

House Grill offers comfortable table seating inside as well as outside, and a wonderful wait staff that always comes with a friendly smile. Because the food is prepared fresh, just for you, be prepared to wait anywhere from 15-25 minutes for your food. Trust me, it's completely worth every second of waiting. 

So how do you get your hands on this amazing menu? Head to Lotte Department Store in Daejeon. (Take subway to stop 109 exit 4, or buses 101, 107, 211, 315, 316, 318, 602, 604, 618, and 703.) From the subway, walk straight out of exit 4. Just before Lotte, you'll see Paris Baguette on your left. From the bus stop, look for Paris Baguette next to Lotte Department Store. Turn into the building with Paris Baguette and head straight back. House Grill is in the back on the first floor.
