The E Factor

Evolution. You wouldn't see it in school books in the USA for fear of any form of resistance from anyone and everyone. If religion can't be taught in public schools, the other side of the coin can't be taught, either. People are against spoon-feeding the tests to students at home, but introduce any other topics and the fear of being sued and/or fired is introduced as well.

That's why I had to take these pictures.

The hand-written notes are written by headquarters, not me.
I'm still against these basic definitions.

It's Evolution. In our school books. Charles Darwin's Theory of Evolution.

South Korea definitely is not the USA. It's got a lot of similarities, because the USA is a very close ally to South Korea, but you realize it's different the second you step off the plane and keep realizing it until you've gotten so used to it you've become acclimated and don't even think about it anymore.

Until you open the new monthly books and see something that reminds you again.

These are the books for our UniGold classes for the month of February. The UniGold books leave a lot to be desired, but because the classes are 90-minutes long 2-3 times a week, the lessons in the books are really just topic-introducers and it's up to the teacher to fill in the blanks.

And because I'm such an excellent teacher and I want my students to have a well-rounded education, I won't forget to spend a few minutes on the word 'theory'.
